Former Manchester City and Chelsea winger Wright-Phillips stresses how difficult it can be to perform through racism.Recently, Citys Raheem Sterling and Juventus striker Moise Kean defied abuse by scoring and celebrating in front of their abusers and Sterling has become a leading voice in the fight against racism.Another prominent figure is Arsenal legend and Match of the Day pundit Wright, and Wright-Phillips explained how his father helped him cope with abuse. The 37-year-old is pleased that players like Sterling and Rose are beginning to speak out about racism and suggests wholesale bans could help to eradicate the problem.He added: Its amazing that theyre actually talking out about it because its hard.As players on the pitch, its even harder to deal with a play a good game, like Sterling for example.3

He had to deal with that but came out on top. Hes managed to juggle it but some people might not be able to manage it.I just think its bad, there are kids in the stadium, theyre teaching their kids that racism is alright.If I was the FA or UEFA, I would just ban the fans completely until its policed properly.
