The man has since been arrested by West Midlands Police, and Birmingham have condemned the attack as ‘deplorable and disgusting’.It is believed the club will also personally apologise to Grealish for their supporter’s actions. The intruder blew kisses to the crowd as he was escorted off, and was cheered by a section of the Birmingham support, actions which appalled Nigel Pearson and Matt Murray, who were calling the action live on talkSPORT 2.And you can listen to their live commentary of the horrific incident, above. Grealish later opened the scoring against Villa’s fierce local rivals, having remained on the pitch despite the shocking assault.
