Maurizio Sarri has called for Callum Hudson-Odoi to show some respect to Chelsea and its academy, after confirming the wantaway forward will not be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge this month.Hudson-Odoi, 18, handed in a transfer request last week in an attempt to force through a move to Bayern Munich.2

The Bundesliga giants have pursued Hudson-Odoi for some time, and have had several bids – most notably one worth a reported 35million – turned down for the highly-rated youngster.Blues boss Sarri insists the England Under-19 international is going nowhere in this transfer window though, and says he owes the club a debt of gratitude for nurturing his development.He said: Callum is 18. He has to respect the club, the academy, everything.If you are one of the best young players in Europe, maybe the academy helped you.So you have to respect this. He is improving on the pitch and he is the future of our club and the future of English football. Hes a great player. He will become one of the best in Europe also in another team, but he has to respect the work of the academy coaches.He continued: Here, its his home. We will be patient with him because hes a boy from the academy.I dont know if, at another club, people would be patient with him after five or six matches.It is very difficult to go to another country and adapt or play very well immediately. It is better for him to try and improve here.The forward has been at the club since the age of 8 and has been prolific in every age group, incredibly scoring more than 40 goals in a single season for the under-16s when he should have been playing in the age group below.2

He made his senior debut for the Blues last January, but has made just 15 appearances in all competitions for the club.And while Sarri cant guarantee Hudson-Odoi first-team football, he confirmed that the board have no plans to sell him anytime soon.He added: It is not easy to keep these young players but the club told me he is off the market, for sure.And, probably, he will be off the market in July too.“I dont know [if he will be happy with that] but I can say what I see on the pitch.
